...cracked skin
each scar a brushstroke of time
creating an unique masterpiece
by painting with life's colours...
vz-nostalgia: :
What is the best remedy for scars of time, Ms. Iris?
A moisturizer based on little kisses?
A massage with aromatic oil infused with tender thoughts?
A lotion filled with the Delightful Madness?
A healing air inside the Garden of Nostalgia?

Is the artistic soul particularly raw? This could be an ode to La Vie en Rose.

Louis: Is the artistic soul particularly raw?
Jim Morrison
Janis Joplin
Jimi Hendrix

Sylvia Plath
Ernest Hemingway
Sergei Esenin

Vincent van Gogh
Diane Arbus
Mark Rothko

Oh, Louis. The list of artists/writers/musicians... whose soul was raw is too damn long.

Louis: This could be an ode to La Vie en Rose.
VZ: La Vie en Rose, Jaune et Vert smile

Man could not have painted a more beautiful sunflower than nature did with rusting paint...
vz-nostalgia: Nature is the best teacher, Richard, and not only in the field of arts. smile

Without the self-aggrandizing pseudo psycho-babble and spouted esoteric exigencies of attempting to wax poetic, this image by itself evinces such power, beauty, gritty realism, geometric abstraction, violent stillness and the unrelenting passage of time. All in equal measure. Lovey, fantastic capture, my friend.
vz-nostalgia: Gee... You threw at me the words I've never heard of, Sean. smile I feel like an uneducated fool. smile
Hell's teeth Viktor that's a lot of colour
vz-nostalgia: Got to put a drop of color into a bucket of black'n'white images, Bill. smile Diversity is a good thing, don't you think? I hope the Fauvists will forgive me. smile

I totally agree with Richard - an unbelievable variety of intensive colours (without any man- made support?). simply beautiful!

Philine: ...without any man- made support?
VZ: Well, someone had to put all those layers of paint on top of each other. smile Fortunately for me, the painters didn't do a good job. smile
comes up well
nice abstract!
vz-nostalgia: I could argue about the word "abstract" you used here, Rob, but I won't today. I feel too lazy to argue after Sunday lunch. smile

add to ray's insights...saggis are such attention seeking whores! LOL, lucky you have a skill worth flaunting wink

Cherry: ...reminds me you are still alive
VZ: Glad you pop up here from time to time. That reminds me that YOU are still alive. smile

Cherry: saggis are such attention seeking whores
VZ: That's a pretty strong statement, Ms. Cherry. All I do here (on my only blog) is I post my pictures, like millions other people all over the world do. Does this qualify for giving me a status of an "attention seeking whore"? Geez...

Beauty of Entropy? Maybe...
I rather like
Declaring the eternal yes!!
a peeling back of the layers to reveal the passion
oh yes, and it just makes me happy
vz-nostalgia: Ms. Redmama herself is here. smile God have mercy on me. smile

Redmama: ...and it just makes me happy
VZ: ...and this is just the beginning. smile

well for me the art could be the ability to re-construct the broken pieces...have you ever tried doing it??
vz-nostalgia: The art of reconstructing broken pieces... Hmmmm... Sure, I've done it before. Actually, I did exactly this not long ago. smile But the main thing here is to determine, if it's worth teh effort, Ms. KA. smile
blooming marvelous Victorsmile
vz-nostalgia: smile It's blooming for sure, Tim. smile
