Tales from My Garden: The Creator Has A Master Plan
comments (23)
Wonderful macro. I thought at first I was looking at a aerial photo of an orchard.
VZ: Haha. You're not alone, Ian.
I agree with your title (in general) and I agree with Catalpa (ike " an aerial photo...")! Sorry, that you have not written a short introduction, for I never know this kind of leaf/tree with these yellow points/stips, I don't know if the tree is healthy or sick? Helplessness pure, but it doesn't matter, for the pic is lovely and interesting!
VZ: Sorry Philine for no introduction, as I felt it is not of an importance here. No, dear, this is a quite healthy plant. A desease never comes in such an order. This is a back side of a tropical fern leaf, with yellow points being just seeds.
I wonder if the creator's master plan includes 2 kids, a minivan, a house in the 'burbs, and a trip to Disney. What do you think?
VZ: I think you just described a proverbial American dream (though, you forgot to mention a big screen TV). Many long for it, not many get it.
Looks like Levittown to me! Great!
VZ: I bet something like that inspired Mr. Levitt to come up with his infamous mass-produced suburbia idea back in 1947.
I like this, I also thought was an picture of an arial
VZ: and what if I tell you it is an aerial, Nig.
Ok the first word that came to minde was "haystacks" it is like a whole new perspective on Monet's Haystacks.
VZ: Hey, Monet and me are good buddies. You should know this. The only difference is, I have a single shot of these haystacks, while Monsieur Monet produced a whole bunch of haystack pictures.
Are these yellow things ant houses? They don't get to live in their communal hill anymore? Poor things! This is a thought-provoking shot, V!
VZ: The ants all turned Republicans, Martin. Now each ant cares only about its own well being. Hahahahahahaha. A communal life is a thing of past.
Me gusta mucho!! Es de verdad? Que es eso amarillo? Genial!!
VZ: This is the other side of a tropical plant called fern, Tina. The yellow things are the plant seeds. Glad you like it, dear.
This is amazing, I have been looking at this a long time..I have some ferns in the garden, they have those 'seed bombs' too, great capture, but no I give you a different view waht came into my brain...that redish/brown/green road, diagonal in the picture is the highway, left and right are streets and on those streets, the architect drew some houses, the swimmingpools will get drawn in later, I know...I know...my imagination is bigger than I am.....
Love this macro...
VZ: You were born to be an architect, Astrid. You know, it's not too late, dear. If you start your studies now, you might even land a job at Rem Koolhaas' office in Rotterdam.
Astrid, your imagination is wonderful! And my respect that you have recognized ("the lady of knowledge") this kind of fern with these "seed bombs"! Now I understand VZ' title quite better!
fascinating capture. What creator are you referring to?
VZ: Thank you, dear. The Creator I'm referring to is the one that has a Master Plan. Do you know another one? If so, I'd like to hear about it.
Bit of a stretch, here, VZ.
A "cheesy" leaf shot presented as evidence of a Grand Architect? Oooops! Ha Ha! You got me! Your tongue is firmly pressed into one cheek....right? Ok...I'll go with that. "GAWD" is, I believe, an acronym for "Grand Architect With Design". And...you are suggesting gawd has the design printed in braille on the back of fern leaves.....hmmm! [grin, guffaw]
VZ: Hey, take from it as much as your imagination allows you to take, Ray. Your idea of a Grand Architect is not a bad one, despite its saturation with sarcasm.
Woouuaahhh ... is it the republican national convention seen from a satellite ? It can be the democrat one as well. Does the spores have an interesting political program ? If they have, send it here as soon as possible
VZ: You're brilliant, France. Of course, that's where the Red Lawn Chairs Society resides.
This is masterful Vik: a lovely piece of macro. I thought at first you'd been up in an aeroplane to do this!
VZ: Thanks Chris. I thought I'm flying myself, when I looked at this first time.
thats an intense image and statement
VZ: Do you really think so, dear? I thought it's sort of a realxing image.
Dragging up my biology of 40 years ago..these are spores. Only flowering plants produce seeds.
Don't you just hate a smart arse! Lovely picture.
VZ: I prefer smart arses to stupid arses, Bill.
You still have good memory despite your respectful age, my friend. Hahahaha.
that like an Army or.. could be a chain work factory ?! Impressive picture.
VZ: Thanks Sune. I like it, when folks see their own things in my pictures.
Great title - I really get the feeling that somthing is going on....
VZ: Thanks Aksel. Something IS going on here. Those seeds/spores a getting ripe and soon spread around the world in a great hope to reproduce. Not unlike us, humans.
I can't believe even plants have 'suburbia'!
VZ: They are not much different from us humans, aren't they, Scarlet?
I think that the Spores Society has decided now where they are going to fly. Find some smart bracken "arse" may be ... rroohhh ... I didn't know this word. Making photo make me improve foreign language but next time I'll make a nude picture, I'll take care it isn't a stupid one
VZ: hahahahaha. I'm glad we broadened your linguistic horizons, France.
Really cool photo. The yellow bits are fascinating to look at - a bit unreal.
VZ: It is unreal, Jewlya. It looks so logical, like a man-made rather then occured in nature.
It looks like the aliens have landed her- at first i thought it's some sort of bug, poor plant- then I thought well, everyone's got to survive. Spores is it?
VZ: It has never occured to me to think of aliens, Jamoula. Probably, because I'm not much into a sci-fi literature.
Yep. Spores they are.
Wow - what is this? the tropical fern leaf, and seeds... Very cool macro.
VZ: You asked the question, then you answered it. Very cool. I like it.
