Tales from My Garden: Last Kiss Before the Final Jump
comments (40)
Sweet title and very well captured moment. I like the play of shadows and light.
VZ: Isn't what photography is all about, Jewlya, a play of shadows and light? Well, to have some idea in between those two wouldn't hurt to have either, I guess.
Beautiful crystal ball shot.
VZ: Do you see your future in it, Mike?
Fascination image, Viktor..all lit up and in the shadows too. Wonderful contrasts and intriguing textures.
VZ: Thank you, dear. You know you are onto something, if you reached the level of an intrigue in your shot.
It seems that the laws of physics are suspended in your garden. What is holding up these drops? Can it really be the spider web? Great looking shot, regardless of physics.
VZ: Interesting that you're not the first one, Martin, who noticed that something wrong with the laws of physics in our garden! ha-ha-ha.
Viktor this is outstanding, love the title and the mysterious atmosphere of this picture, the lighting is great.
VZ: Thank you, dear. A man of mystery is destined to be surrounded by a mysterious atmosphere.
Extraordinary picture Viktor !I love your title !
VZ: You're welcome, dear.
Excellent capture !!
VZ: Glad you enjoyed it.
I think monochrome removes the clutter and lets one focus on the kiss. Can this go as an entrant for the 'Best Kiss' award
VZ: Let me know, where the competition takes place, Sandeep. Screw the photography, I'd like to take part in it myself.
Absolutly fascinating image. The detailed reflections on the left drop is amazing!
VZ: Thanks, Richard. To be scientifically correct, those are not the reflections. This is a real world squeezed into a little drop.
ooses quality both at the photographic level and accompanied story. mal
VZ: Good to see the nod from the Maestro.
ps. And thanks for the new word of the day. You drove me crazy with it. Did you mean to use the word "ooze"?
The decisive moment: i'ts lovely
ps. followed your advice about my site. Thanks.
VZ: Thanks, Jamoula.
ps. Good for you, now it's a totally different feel, isn't it?
"Green" water...naturally filtered....$many per droplet!
VZ: Come over with your own cup, Ray. For you, it's free of charge.
Lovely and this type of shot lends itself perfectly to B&W.
VZ: Appreciate your comment, Bernie.
I really like this....it's sort of eerie, sort of sci-fi looking....the light is great.
VZ: We all like to have a hint of suspense, don't we, Beth? Just enough to keep us on our toes.
Great shit. Quite impressive.
VZ: I love the "great shit" comments. At one point, I even suggested to convert it into a category.
Amazing shot Viktor. I love the philosophical way you approach your images - it always gives one food for thought.
Ingrid
VZ: Thank you, dear. I'd lo-o-o-ve to hear what kind of thoughts my shots evoke in you.
tragic is the
beauty of our tears through the webs of life
VZ: Oh, Pat. That is so deep and so emotional. You're right in tune with "the strum of tears that soothes open wounds of souls" (see Kathryn's thought to the previous image).
I don't have a clue how you SAW this let along captured it, Viktor, but it's pure magic!
VZ: Got lucky, dear. God gave me a split of a second, and it was up to me to use it or to lose it. We all have those sudden gifts from the above from time to time, don't we, dear? The thing is, we often blow the chance.
Great title, and exquiste macro. Black and white is perfect for this really stunning shot. (:o)
VZ: Thank you kindly, dear.
Hmmm, Strength and Elegance combined. Why do we humans have to work so hard to achieve the 'natural' ?
VZ: By definition, Chris, what we achieve as humans, is "artificial". The "natural" is given.
Viktor, this is your best image yet! What a super talent, This image reminds me of when I was younger. I used to water my grandfathers greenhouse with him, it's like the web is the plastic roof and the water is dripping from it, just like it did then. When I look at this picture, I can actually smell the old greenhouse that no longer stands.
Thanks.
VZ: See, it wasn't that hard to let your emotions to flow freely, Tony. That is exactly what I'm after, your emotions. Not "nice shot/great crop/good colors..." If I srum the strings inside your soul, I'm a happy man, my friend.
wow thats a terrific shot.
VZ: You're very welcome, Aussie.
Viktor,I'm glad you did not take a picture of the other side of the web, or aleast chose to keep the picture for your own pleasure. Ugh!
VZ: To each their own, Rey.
waterdrops like pearls, and I imagine how the leaves of the plant are stretching out their arms to intake the water they are longing for-a very impressive photo with a fascinating play of light and shadows - and a hommage for the little waterdrops you have stopped now while falling down in order to present their beauty- in a magic way!
VZ: That is quite an ode you wrote here, dear. I think you're the first one here, who compared the droplets with pearls. It's a good one, I like it.
Wow, what a capture this is! It's beautiful
VZ: Thanks, dear, for carving out time from your sleep to look at my picture. It's late in London.
There's this song I like and I've been pondering for ages how I would visualise it. I think you have one answer here. It's called "Drops of Jupiter" by Train.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4xXQFnIEf_Q
VZ: "With drops of jupiter in her hair,
She acts like summer and walks like rain" That's an old good song, Jose. I'd never come up with connecting the two, but, hey, that's the beauty of it. We all reach for our own experiences. Just read the comments. I was listening to much more darkish Crimson's "Lark's Tongues in Aspic" album, while working on the picture. No straight connection to the droplets here, but there is one on the deeper level. Here's the link http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3LPmSA92FcU&feature=related
nothing clever to say today, but wanted to let you know this is one of my VZ favorites so far.
VZ: Holy smokes! Viktoria is here! I'm glad you let yourself into the wider world, my dear. So nice to hear from you.
Wow this is just awesome Viktor
VZ: I'm glad it is for you, my dear.
Beautiful shot, VZ. Words fail me. Its an absolutely amazing shot...
VZ: I'll wait for the words to come back to you, Richa. I'm a patient man.
masterpiece of a moment, Vik. and the title does so much justice to it
VZ: Glad you enjoyed it, Terry.
I think the surfaces and the tension sums up this nugget of an image. There, you have it in perfect black and white. richard
VZ: Whatever it sums up to, Richard, I'm glad like it.
Thi is stunning VZ, unusual and very well captured
VZ: Thanks, Nig. What's up with the puddle? Have you been flooded in Gloucester?
Why on earth were you crawling in your garden??
Never mind!...If every time you crawl you can find such kind of tales, just keep on doing it I like that spider's mansion with its liquid chandeliers.
VZ: Would you like to crawl with me? I'll show you all the secret places. Can't guarantee we'll find such kind of tales every time we crawl, though.
Just love your "spider's mansion with liquid chandeliers". You're as good with words as you are with your pictures, Lina.
beautiful pic.. and a caption jsut right for it.. well taken..
VZ: Thanks AJ. How in the world did you find my site? It was off from the front page of shutter for a few days now.
Gorgeous shot. Lovly lighting. love your title
VZ: Thanks. Are you always so concise?
I am new to this site.. and also to photography.. was just browsing to see and learn..
Sorry I meant great shot and not "great shit". Darn typos.
Wow! Impressive capture. I congratulate to you. In addition your silhouette reflected in the drops can be seen!
VZ: Let me congratulate you back, my friend, with your upcoming exhibition in Barcelona. Wish you success!
I like it!
VZ: Multzumesk frumos, my friend. I'm glad you do.
This is a stunning photo... probably one of the best I've seen when it comes to this kind of photos... amazing...
VZ: You're very welcome, Nauras.
