A new journey in a different carriage...with different companions...
vz-nostalgia: Have you been walking through my mind, Ray? smile
Depends which direction one's eyes gaze upon....smile
vz-nostalgia: ...and in which direction your eyes gaze upon, Ms. Suzanne? smile

To me the path seems tangled but still visible. It might need some cleaning though.. smile I'd volunteer. smile
vz-nostalgia: You're hired, Ms. Iris, starting immediately. smile

homesick for what i've loved and knowing that one really can't go home again.
vz-nostalgia: You're not alone, Ms. Cathy. So many leave their homes against their will.
On other hand, the time will come, you'll make yourself another home. smile Try staying on teh sunny side of life. smile

The point of return or no return?
The glass is half full or half empty?
Is it coming or going?
.....
To me it appears to be a stopping point for someone at some point of time since it's less covered with weed...
What happened at that point at that time?...
Aren't we all just stopping at some point in our life currently? Can't wait to retire so I can get moving again...in either direction....as long as not "down"... smile
vz-nostalgia: You are quite philosophical today, Ti. I think this is teh most philosophical comment you left here up to date. smile

Ti: The point of return or no return?
VZ: Each one decides this for oneself, Ti.

Ti: The glass is half full or half empty?
VZ: Depends who you are by nature, an optimist or a pessimist.

Ti: Is it coming or going?
VZ: Strangely enough, I have a picture to post with exactly the same title. smile

Ti: What happened at that point at that time?...
VZ: What happened is that you come to the point beyond which is another kingdom. If you think you got bored with the kingdom you have and you want more, you keep going. And that's fine. If you feel that the kingdom you have is your home: turn around and stay, no matter how sugary sweet the voice from abroad sings.

Ti: Aren't we all just stopping at some point in our life currently?
VZ: Sure, we do. Not currently, though, but at some point of our life. Perhaps, not at one point. smile
The start of a new journey, it might be troublesome clearing the way, but its worth it if you stay on track! smile
vz-nostalgia: What if the track leads to nowhere, Ms. Linda? smile
I suppose i am the only one who thought this looked like a close up of a Badger's butt..I'll stick to Choccie box and leave the clever stuff to others smile
vz-nostalgia: Badger's butt with a rail stuck in it. smile C'mon, Bill. I know you can do better that this. smile
nice thought inspiring shot!
vz-nostalgia: Glad to be of help, Rob. smile
Kinda makes me dizzy. Better hold on! smile
vz-nostalgia: You'll be fine, Larry. Just keep your focus on the tracks instead. smile

A new journey for me, with no tracks, lots of detours and no worries about time or destination!
vz-nostalgia: Looks like a dream journey to me, Ms. Reis. Just make sure that you dream in color. smile
"The overgrown paths, which no one longer cares about or uses"

For me this picture a reminder of a time that is heading into oblivion.

Good photo!

KAA: For me this picture a reminder of a time that is heading into oblivion.
VZ: Like teh time of a typewriter or the windup watches? smile I still remember the time, when people wrote each other letters. smile

I came a across this one the other day and today I think it may have some bearing on borderline thinking.

Paths
by Sandi Lyn Schraut

Returning to the places where love had once been
Walking the paths once strewn with hope
Living in memories filled with light
Remembered dreams late in the night

Now gone are the dreams and gone is that hope
Gone with the wishes that didn’t root and grow fruit
Memories once shiny now are all rusted in red
Love has gone walking down dry, dusty roads

Now the sun shines on one who has bits
Of a new hope agrowing, but more wary and wise
Who now has wishes and dreams of her own
but never again will she give them away

For even if another comes into her life
She will not give her heart,
nor her life, nor her love
without some hard thought

If ever this miracle should happen again
Her heart she will share
But keep it within.
vz-nostalgia: It sure does, Louis. Still I prefer to read your own thinking. smile

oh it's a good question mr VZ

I think it might be both...
sometimes the point of return offers a more expanded vision of where we can go on the next journey...it has happened to me most of the times smile

I wonder..where did it take you to????
vz-nostalgia: :
KA: it has happened to me most of the times
VZ: Really? In order for you to move forward you always have to step back? smile
