This sounds a bit fishy to me Viktor
vz-nostalgia: I expected that someone would mention this flat "fishy" joke, but had no idea it would be you, Bill. smile
what a household of three dear
vz-nostalgia: A household? smile What made you think so, Ms. Aniko? What if they are total strangers? smile

Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre philosophized quite a lot about that, I assume. smile
vz-nostalgia: Sure, and so did William Shakespeare in his plays, or Mozart in his operas. But reality might be even more powerful than fiction, Ms. Iris. smile I see your eyebrows go up like a pair of swallows. smile Okay, here it is:
"In Sweden in 1775, Count Adolf Fredrik Munck af Fulkila had reputedly been hired by king Gustaf III to assist him in the consummation of his marriage with Queen Sophie Magdalena. He was to act as sexual instructor for the couple. His "aid" is alleged to have resulted in the birth of the future King Gustaf IV Adolf in 1778. By further rumors, he was the lover of the king as well as of the queen. These rumors eventually had serious political implications in the end of the House of Holstein-Gottorp's rule in Sweden."
I'd like to see, where your eyebrows now. smile

No matter which side you flip the fish in the middle, it has to be a she... smile

Man, I hope that's not your dining room table... smile
vz-nostalgia: smile
YKW: No matter which side you flip the fish in the middle, it has to be a she...
VZ: The key words here are "no matter", because for a skillful lady fish it really doesn't matter. smile

YKW: Man, I hope that's not your dining room table...
VZ: I see no reason why not. Kitchen table is as good of a place as any other one. smile

After having looked at your sad and cruel picture I, sorry, could forget to be a lover of fish! And where does your blooming phantasy swarm out now again? But it is a fine photo in photographical respect.
Another story I could add - there are three castles in Thuringia between Gotha and Erfurt, called “die drei [three] Gleichen”, "each situated on a hill. ... It was the seat of a line of counts, one of whom, Ernest III, a crusader, is the subject of a romantic legend. Having been captured, he was released from his imprisonment by a Turkish woman, who returned with him to Germany and became his wife, a papal dispensation allowing him to live with two wives at the same time." The legend doesn`t tell about the feelings of those two wives - I cannot imagine they were happy, and the Turkish woman might have been homesick and feeling cold.

Philine: After having looked at your sad and cruel picture I, sorry, could forget to be a lover of fish!
VZ: Forget teh fish then, Ms. Philine. Just be a lover. smile

Philine: And where does your blooming phantasy swarm out now again?
VZ: Sometimes I wonder this myself. Looks like my fantasy has neither a direction, nor boundaries. smile

Thanks for the story, Ms. Philine. Apparently, a menage a trois is not such a rare thing as people think it is. smile A French surrealist poet Paul Eluard, his Russian wife Gala (later a wife of Salvador Dali, who was ten years younger than her) and Gala's lover, a German painter Max Ernst, spent quite a few happy years together. smile

A nice vision measuring the end, a sel/fish one maybe ? wink
vz-nostalgia: When one is in a menage a trois situation, one has to be ready to share. There is no place for sel-fish-ness here, Ms. K@. smile

L.Reis: But, by the look of it, I'll bet they had the fun of their lifes!
VZ: That's what the real love does to folks, Ms. Reis. It will suck all teh juices out of you, and will move to greener pastures in search for next victims. smile

the image and the thought it represents remind me of Yeats' Ephemera.

classic work, Vik. like the finest wine you only get better.

Terry: the image and the thought it represents remind me of Yeats' Ephemera.

VZ: Wonder which lines, Tery, maybe these: "... eyes that once were never weary of mine are bowed in sotrow under pendulous lids, because our love is waning..."

Terry: ...like the finest wine you only get better.
VZ: Once there was a man (about 2011 years ago) who raised his cup among his friends and said: "I am the wine..." (or something like this) smile.

Ah, so you have a fish torture facility in your garden, Viktor? Watch out for the animal rights groups ... smile
vz-nostalgia: :
1. That's my Viquarium, not the Garden, Thomas. smile
2. "...There is strong evidence for biological connections between the neurochemical pathways used for the perception of pain and those involved in the perception of pleasure and other psychological rewards. These probably involve dopamine and endorphin pathways..." I pulled this out from teh net, but I'm sure you already know it. smile
Les histoires d'amour finissent mal en général .....comme il est dit dans une chanson ! alors ménage à trois !!!!
Superbe illustration !

love the subject matter here...great translated in an image wink
vz-nostalgia: Does it make me a good translator, Ms. Cherry? smile
ma tre non è il numero perfetto?
vz-nostalgia: You tell me, Ms. Stef. Is it for you? smile
Ah, yes, my mistake, Viktor! A Fish Pleasuring facility in your Viquarium ... The squeezing of the head with a pair of pliers, will certainly translate into a neurochemically founded abyss of pure joy for the little fellas ... as fully substantiated by modern science :-p
vz-nostalgia: Yes, something like this, Thomas. smile You are on a right path now. smile
