So innocent she looks. But as she is standing in the spotlight I bet she won't have to wait for long until someone pays attention smile
vz-nostalgia: :
Iris: So innocent she looks.
VZ: Because she is. But not for long. smile

Iris: I bet she won't have to wait for long until someone pays attention.
VZ: You got it right, Ms. Iris. The thing is, she won't be able to get her petals back. smile One can't step into the same river twice. smile

She must be a youngster, VZ...
vz-nostalgia: A fine observer you are. smile Have you ever seen an older lady, wearing the petals of innocence, Ray? smile Because, they are a sure sign of youth. smile

She's alluring Vik: but what else is she?
vz-nostalgia: I see, for a lady to be alluring is nearly not enough for you, Chris. smile
Good Grief Viktor, you post a charming picture of a flower and then reduce it to a deflowering of youthful innocence.
vz-nostalgia: smile
1. There are plenty of pictures of charming flowers everywhere you look, Bill. I doubt one more would make a difference. Any photograph should have a reason to exist.
2. "Reduce to deflowering"? All depends, Bill. In good hands it might be only the beginning of an exciting journey to the lands she never dreamed of. smile A Kingdom of Delightful Madness, for example. smile
Great contrast in the shot as also in the lines written.
Time tears off her petals anyway.

Delia: Time tears off her petals anyway.
VZ: We all die anyway. Why live? smile
"...waiting for someone to tear her petals off..." and yet
you resist, Viktor. If not you, who?
vz-nostalgia: I had my share of petals, Alan. Time to step back. smile

Better to have someone lay them bare
than have them fall off on their own.
Some things are better enjoyed with another. smile

Suzanne: Some things are better enjoyed with another.
VZ: Deflowering is definitely one of them, Ms. Suzanne. smile

Send it to Thailand. I am sure there are wonderful insects that will deflower it in no time.

I like the flower's crooked (and hairy) finger with the 'Come hither' motion smile
vz-nostalgia: :
Louis: I like the flower's crooked (and hairy) finger...
VZ: Are you implying that the blond is a shemale, Louis? smile
Merry Christmas!
vz-nostalgia: Is it, Pekka? Look around. smile I guess things in Finland are not as bad as they are in teh rest of teh world. smile

grin Finger, Viktor, finger ...

But if you have inside knowledge that she is a she-male, I'll take your word for it smile
vz-nostalgia: Let's put this topic to rest, Louis. smile
And with each petal, a wish!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. smile
vz-nostalgia: And what was your wish, Ms. Ellie, when you lost your petals? smile
Beautiful. Merry Christmas
vz-nostalgia: Happy New Year, Ms. Toni.

I don't believe that the flower is "waiting for someone", look at 'her' (if it is a she, I'm not sure) body language- 'she' turned off 'her' face' being too self- confident and proud to let "tear her petals off" - 'she' didn't ever read books by Alice Schwartzer or other feminists, but 'her' natural feeling and thinking might say to herself and to you: "What a Schmarrn- all these clich├ęs about female and male behaviours!" The photograph itself is a delight for the eyes!
vz-nostalgia: You are welcome to believe in whatever you believe in, Ms. Philine. smile The main thing for me is you are not left indifferent to the photograph (indifference is the worst what can happen to any piece of art). smile
- "Merry Christmas! "
- "Is it, Pekka? Look around. I guess things in Finland are not as bad as they are in teh rest of teh world."

We should sit down some evening.
vz-nostalgia: Is that an invitation, Pekka? smile Put a bottle of "Finlandia" in a freezer then. smile

VZ: If only everything in the world was that simple. Ms. KA. smile
When I take a look at you amazing photoblog I understand why you did like so much my last photo!

Very impressive close ups here, keep up with the good work, those are the most difficult photografhps of all because we all had these on front of us but only you saw the picture.
vz-nostalgia: "Looking" and "seeing" are two words people often confuse, Anthony. smile
Just testing: "Happy New Year to you!" smile
vz-nostalgia: Did I pass the test, Pekka? smile Hope the new year stated with a good note for you.

vz-nostalgia: smile
L.Reis: It's been waiting long enough...where are you????!!!!
VZ: When was teh last time you've been to the ophthalmologist, Ms. Reis? I'm here, right under your nose. smile

L. Reis: ...I'm not in the mood for 2011...I think I'll skip it...
VZ: I don't think it's a good idea to become one year older without living a single day of it, Ms. Reis. smile

I hope they leave the petals on - it is a very very nice image and missing petals would ruin it.
vz-nostalgia: No one can stop teh natural flow of things, Brian. If no one tear her petals off, in time she'll lose them anyway, not making happy anyone. smile

Just wonderful
vz-nostalgia: smile plain and simple smile
Wow, this is amazing how the white petals let through the light and how the dark sky reply to it...beautiful.
vz-nostalgia: KNowing your weakness for a tilt, I would assume it is the angle that caught your attention here. smile
