Zyryality: Once I Had A Dream

…last night I dreamt I was

                                             a cello

an angel flew in through the open window

to play me with a bow as gentle as

                                                             her smile.

she held me in between her trembling thighs

the sound of the cello and the sound of her moaning

entangled fluttered in the air

she left as suddenly as she appeared…

…what a fantastic dream I thought

                                                             when I woke up

still feeling gentle bow strokes on my pulsating skin.

I drew aside the window curtain

to let the light into the room.

a  pair of angel wings was hanging

                                                           on the branch

right up against the window…

…a little blackbird passed by me

"You thought it was a dream, you fool?" she smiled…

hehe it's mystical revelations season don't you know? wink

I just read how Jupiter has been in Pisces for a bit now which is why everybody is going through a super "spiritual time" lately...(yes I sure have noticed)...possibly also why Avatar did so well at the box office...

It's fun these things anyway- serendipity, synchronicity, god, angels, whatever you want to label them...fun!

VZ: I'm sure Avatar would do just fine at any time ot year, Ms. Zhen. smile

You dreamt you were a cello? Tch, that is not a good sign at all smile
If those lantana seeds hanging in the tree, were the angel's wings - did you check on the ground if you could see the fallen angel. You know about the fallen angel, don't you? You wouldn't want Nick to play with your cello things.

If you looked and saw no fallen angel, you would have known the bird was kidding you. Real pranksters.

One flaw in your dream, since when are angels female? grin
vz-nostalgia: smile
Louis: You dreamt you were a cello? Tch, that is not a good sign at all
VZ: Would it be a good sign, if I was a tuba, Louis? smile Or one of these:

Louis: You know about the fallen angel, don't you?
VZ: Sure I do. One would think a man of your age would know that angels change their wings as often as women change their hats. smile A fashion statement, so to speak. smile

Louis: One flaw in your dream, since when are angels female?
VZ: smile Like... since forever. smile

Lovely tones, Lovely tale...and i guess even with doubt you earned your angel wings smile
vz-nostalgia: with doubt? smile There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that the wings were a sincere gratitude for my examplary performance, SAVO. smile
if you break those in two, and throw one of the halves in the air, it will 'helicopter' to the ground. that's what we called them, helicopters.

you asked if i ever had a wish come true. and i have to answer, of course, i have had many wishes come true. i think it is because i wish a lot. i wish on stars, eyelashes, when two people say the same thing at the same time.
the thing is, not everything comes true.
and sometimes i wish for things i already have, so they don't go away.
vz-nostalgia: :
Sera: if you break those in two...
VZ: I would never do such a thing with a gift from an angel, Ms. Sera. smile

The translucence of the dead seedcase is mirrored by the background Vik: a fine composition
vz-nostalgia: smile since when you started paying attention to my compositions, Chris? smile
A pair of angel wings would make a nice tittle for this image. I wish the leafs had more sharpness here.
vz-nostalgia: smile well, catch a ladybird, blow on her and make a wish. I'm sure that sharpness will be fine as soon as she takes off. smile
I know these, if you throw them up the helicopter down
vz-nostalgia: I have a feeling you never dream, Ms. Chantal. smile

You dreamt cello, but I thought clogs. Perhaps I should see an analyst ;o)

Oh, a very poetic photograph which let dream you of an angel and a cello- I love your imagination! -the marple tree seeds (or fruits) look lucid and gentle - I remember them well- their pale green-yellow colours are beautiful, too- they are fragile and robust at the same time - for me the angel and the blackbird were rather a "he"! (Maybe, because we say: der Engel, der Vogel?)
vz-nostalgia: :
Philine: ...their pale green-yellow colours are beautiful...
VZ: That was a seed of a Japanese maple tree, Philine, which grows on our front yard. The seeds are bright red. smile

VZ: Of course, it's "he", Philine. You are a woman. That is what most women dream of, a "he". smile For most of us, men, an angel is a "she":

Did she play Sir Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85?
LOl at Blackdog! (What might a psycho"analyst" say about the dream? He has to be silent, it is only poetry!)
vz-nostalgia: :
Philine: Did she play Sir Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto...
VZ: Do you really think I was paying attention, or was capable of paying attention, Philine? smile
Philine: LOl at Blackdog!
VZ: Blackdog is beyond help, Philine. smile
Brings out the delicacy of the seeds beautifully.

vz-nostalgia: smile There are no winners in art per se, John. There is art that sells, and there is art that doesn't. smile Artists need to eat too. That's why I'm glad that Lauren decided to double-major. Photography alone is a tough market, unless one is willing to shoot weddings. Blegh. smile

"Hallo" and a smile were enough to get around for a few days in a new country. smile But then, a real hard work. smile

No! Go play with your own cello, nobody touches my cello... smile
vz-nostalgia: smile I see a clear case of megalomania here, Mr. YKW. I'm sure you meant to say "nobody touches my piccolo". smile
you dream of being a string instrument.
my aching bach.
vz-nostalgia: smile
Sera: my aching bach.
VZ: smile You know, Ms. Sera, I have a big issue with how Americans pronounce foreign names. We say Charles de Gaulle as if we address Prince Charles. smile Same with J. S. Bach. Even the classical music hosts on teh National Public Radio (with their examplary English) pronounce Bach as Back. Such a disappointment. smile

wow!! what a picture and a story!! I really love both...
what about this one...

Last night I dreamt I was an angel...

I was flying around when I found an open window...
There was a cello which hadn't been played for a long time...
I came in, sat down and held it between my angelic thighs...
the cello seemed to be pleased to feel the movements of my bow on its strings...
I enjoyed the moment with this cello the whole night until I realized the morning was coming...
when I was ready to fly back home
the cello asked me 'Am I dreaming?'
'we are not', I responded
'will you come back tonight?'the cello questioned
'maybe I will...if you let your window opened and if I don't lose my wings' I answered soflty while kissing good bye...
vz-nostalgia: smile Your story sounds great, Ms. KA, but looks like I lost control over who can fly in to play the cello. smile

I think k.a. has given too much credit to the cello, this old cello can only play one tune per night not to mention "...the whole night...", I doubt it can even finish half a tune... smile

BTW, poor John Baker might had given Lauren a really bad example for an inspiration for her... poor girl... smile
vz-nostalgia: smile
YKW: ...this old cello can only play one tune per night...
VZ: smile so that was you who held teh candle, while I was playing. smile

Regarding Ms. KA and John Baker, here is my piece of advice to you: stay away from other people's comments. You can exercise your wit on my pictures and my writing as much as you want, but leave other folks alone. For your own sake. smile

vz-nostalgia: Don't pay much attention, Ms. Philine. smile Some folks have an inferiority complex. The only way for them to feel superior is to put other people down. The story is as old as human history. smile

well, mr Y.K.W. I appreciate that you read my lines but I don't know which cello you were referring to. The one I had in mind does play an ample array of tones...thus the variety of tunes and tones mainly depends on how the cello and the player get to interact together...
ah...many beautiful masterpieces were composed with only 2 or 3 chords... amazing but true smile
vz-nostalgia: The personal attacks are better be ignored, Ms. KA. You don't have to explain anything to anyone. Be above it. smile
