oh to be contained so magically in a tiny universe such as this one with a tiny tree that bears fruit, a tiny tree full of knowing wisdom... to all those whose eyes see it..shhhh...please keep this secret safe.
vz-nostalgia: You are welcome to share the seat under the tree of wisdom with me, Ms. Suzanne. I'm sure you haven't tasted sweeter fruit than this.
Clever, too, how your universe hangs upside down...clearly the Laws [Hypotheses] of Physics of our Universe do not apply.
I would like to visit, VZ, if you can confirm they have a good cellar of full-bodied reds.
vz-nostalgia:
Ray: ...clearly the Laws... of Physics of our Universe do not apply.
VZ: There is just one law that works here, Ray. It's called The First Law of Nostalgia, which says: "No praises are allowed on Nostalgia". I'm thankful that you follow it for quite some time now.
Ray: ...if you can confirm they have a good cellar of full-bodied reds.
VZ: You are welcome to stop by, but all I drink is cheap French table wines that I buy at a local Farmers Market, Ray.
a whole life in that tiny little drop. looking at an even tinier little drop within...how wonderful. i know you don't use one, but i often think you are using a camera from another era, an old russian model of something, your pictures often have that wonderful quality to them
vz-nostalgia: My analog Russian camera collects dust, Ms. Eliza. But I know a guy who use Zorki and Zenith all the time, and shoots almost exclusively with Russian lenses. It's my friend Makoto from Supporo, Japan. You got to check him out. http://chrono.shutterchance.com/
A bit like the world contained in a grain of sand. I wonder how it would feel to be on the inside looking out?
Ingrid
vz-nostalgia: :
Ingrid: A bit like the world contained in a grain of sand.
VZ:
"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour..."
Ingrid: I wonder how it would feel to be on the inside looking out?
VZ: There is only one way to know this, Ingrid. Want to try it?
vz-nostalgia: What? Contrast? Contrast between what and what, Hamid?

vz-nostalgia: I see you and Ray are all about Hypothesis today, Ms. Philine.
Yes. Water is our elixir, I agree, but this might be as well a drop of whiskey.
maybe this matchstick is able to extinguish the fire of the life within...
vz-nostalgia: The function of a matchstick is just opposite, Ms. Dori. It's to create a fire, not to extinguish. Sometimes, a person can light a fire in other people too.
A drop in the ocean
can contain a little tree
What powers set in motion
I beseech thee?
Take the quantum leap
the secrets of the universe is yours to keep
vz-nostalgia:
...when a droplet falls into the ocean
she becomes no longer a droplet, unique and independent,
but one of many, without a face, without a name...
what powers can she hold then?
Sharing the secrets of teh universe is a greater pleasure than keeping them, Louis.
VZ: The function of a matchstick is just opposite, Ms. Dori. It's to create a fire, not to extinguish.
Dori: who decided that a matchstick can only create fire?
vz-nostalgia: I know you are a very creative person, Ms. Dori. Now tell me how you use the matchsticks, beside lighting up a cigarette, building a model in a bottle or holding up your eyelids in order not to fall asleep.
VZ: I know you are a very creative person, Ms. Dori. Now tell me how you use the matchsticks, beside lighting up a cigarette, building a model in a bottle or holding up your eyelids in order not to fall asleep.
Dori: ah no, i wasnt trying to be creative that way...it was about this droplet spark of yours that quenched a thirst in me
(a matchstick can remind us that we shouldnt cut trees...it can also make one feel like an upgraded prometheus...or it can help some kid with his first math problems...or it can teach you that stubbornness has often unpleasant results...but my previous comment wasnt about any of this )
vz-nostalgia: :
Dorina: it was about this droplet spark of yours that quenched a thirst in me
VZ: Like an unexpected kiss in the darkness of night?
makes me think of Le Petit Prince. I like this one.
vz-nostalgia: I may be a Prince, but I'm not Petit, Ms. Pixie. Do you think Saint-Exupery would approve? "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye". Bless his heart.

vz-nostalgia: all secrets sooner or later get revealed, Ms. KA, even tiny ones.
