...and, gawd,
if you love me,
send down a plague of aphids,
...big, fat, juicy ones...
to blight the rose gardens of those sinning humans,
and to give me something to eat...
Eh, Men
vz-nostalgia: hahahaha... you are so funny, Ray. At least, she didn't ask for money as humans do. smile

Beautifully "captured" I must say.
vz-nostalgia: Thanks for capturing the "captured" in quotation marks, Ms. Kay. Otherwise, I'd think you are serious. smile
Nothing more beautiful than a lady in prayer. Even the light shines well on her...here.
vz-nostalgia: :
Delia: Even the light shines well on her...here.
VZ: I think she has received a special blessing, Ms. Delia. smile

In the hollow blossom of her Secret Prayer, an effortless serenity of being.
vz-nostalgia: ...in her effortless serenity of being she found comfort, until she heard a knock on her heaven's door... smile

vz-nostalgia: :
K.A.: then no 'secrets' anymore
VZ: Really? Do you think God can't keep a secret, Ms. K.A.? smile
The spacecraft is entering the docking bay...to the sound of the blue danube?
vz-nostalgia: hahahaha... waltzing with flowers... smile
You know, I used to live not far from Danube in one of my previous lives. smile

The leaf looks more like it's about to swallow her whole. And how do you know it's a she - are you able to sex a ladybird?
Ingrid
vz-nostalgia: I'm not sure I'm able to sex a ladybird, but I can try to sex her up. smile After all it's in her name. smile
Lol, Ingrid has a point!
vz-nostalgia: Do you really think so? I guess I need to look for it a little harder. smile
breathtaking photo
vz-nostalgia: you can take a breath now, Ms. Chantal. smile
maybe she is praying she won't get lost in her secret bliss...
vz-nostalgia: ...or maybe just opposite, she asks to dissolve in that secret bliss of hers. smile

Hey, you stole her from me. I guess after she lost her balance? smile

Or, two different ladies with two different religions with two different praying positions... smile
vz-nostalgia: :
Ti: Hey, you stole her from me.
VZ: I think I did. smile
Ti: I guess after she lost her balance?
VZ: She most certainly did. Sleepless nights filled with music, poetry and thoughts can put anyone out of balance. smile

Nice!
vz-nostalgia: smile I'm surprised shutter allowed you a one-word comment, Ms. Ellie. I usually get a pop up message "Your comment is too short". smile

vz-nostalgia: I wasn't in the mood for color here, Tim. smile
cool
even some selective sat might be cool...
the leaf looks like it's going to eat it....
Cheers
Rob
vz-nostalgia: Cool? I think the praying lady is quite hot. smile
beautiful image
vz-nostalgia: It must be, if you returned to leave a second comment, Ms. Chantal. smile
First thought on this one : DEEP!
vz-nostalgia: Oftentimes, the perception of art is only as deep as one's intellect is, Jide. smile So, you're doing fine, my friend. smile

I don't know about prayer but bliss it is! I am looking at this wishing I were that ladybug (or is it a Japanese beatle?)
vz-nostalgia: Hello Anastasia,
A Japanese beatle? As far as I know, none of the Beatles has/had a Japanese blood flowing through their veins. smile Well, maybe an unofficial one, Yoko Ono. smile
Looks like she is going into a leafy cave.
vz-nostalgia: It looks like there are two approaches folks take on this image. First one is on a kind of aggressive side: the leaves are about to swallow the ladybug. The other one is, she feels safe under the protection of the leaves. I wonder, if these two different approaches have something to do with a person's psyche. smile Could be a good topic for a course paper of a psychiatry student. smile

i see a shiny casket full of dreams. dreams being lived out, worn out in another avatar. all while she continues to lie there, ensconced in a sylvan embrace, in eternal rest. happy as the hunting grounds may be, i’d consider her blessed for having stopped there.
vz-nostalgia: "a shiny casket full of dreams". You painted a strikingly poetic image with a touch of goth, Terry. smile
