The Other Side Of Ansley Park: Bullets Over Ansley

Next time I see Woody Allen  I might hint him to shoot a sequel to his "Bullets Over Broadway". Say, a menage a trois:  a rich bored housewife (typical for Ansley neighborhood); her Mexican maid Esmeralda (typical for Ansley neighborhood), who secretly wears bored housewife's jewelry and fancy underwear, when she's away; a maid's handsome Colombian boyfriend Fernando, who's into drug trafficking and who often visits the bored housewife's house, even when the maid is not there.

Ah, let's make it a menage a quattre. Let's add a good-looking Russian gardener Boris, who has a crush on Esmeralda (not without mutuality) and has ties to the Russian mafia...

One day the housewife notices the absence of her favorite diamond ring and sees it on Esmeralda's finger (such an oversight on Esmeralda's part)  and all hell breaks loose, and bullets start flying over Ansley...

I think Mr. Allen might be interested.   :-)

If I was Mr Allen, I would buy the rights on the spot, VZ.

Boris might be an interesting character....are you thinking Bruce Willis, or Johnny Depp?
vz-nostalgia: Willis or Depp as Boris? Didn't I say a good-looking? I'll try to keep the role for myself. smile
I wonder what Quentin Tarantino would do with that scenario?
vz-nostalgia: Tarantino would introduce to the plot a Chinese lady, a housewife's personal manicurist/pedicurist, who is not bad with swords. The final scene in the movie would be a close up of a traffic mirror with a few bullet holes all splashed with blood, in oversaturated colors, of course. smile

Are those gunshots or spiders?
vz-nostalgia: Would you like me to mail you a bottle of a lens cleaner for your glasses, Chris? smile
You like telenovelas, don't you? grin Coz what you described sounds more like one of those than a Woody Allen movie.
vz-nostalgia: Actually, I don't, Ms. Delia, except for old Seinfeld reruns. I don't think Jerry Seinfeld would be interested. Too complicated for him. smile

vz-nostalgia: Looks like I started confusing my dreams with my real life, Ms. Eliza. smile
At one point I might send the housewife and her husband-lawyer to Tanzania for a safari, where they will get lost in the wilderness and rediscover each other. smile But before, her husband will fall in love with a 6 foot tall blond beauty: their photography guide from "Nomad Tanzania". smile

A script to Woody Allen! He will love!
vz-nostalgia: I guess I'll stop working after I sell the script, Fabrice. I'll be rich. smile
Mirror mirror on wall ...

Who is the most creative of us all.

Please, is it Victor or is it Woody?

Whoever it is the film would be a goody.

This reminds me, in a an odd way, of W. Eugene Smith's shot "Dream Street", an all-time favorite of mine.
vz-nostalgia: I'm not familiar with this shot, Edward, got to google it. Must be from his Pittsburg series.
Here is a link to "Dream Street" (sorry a poster site but best I can find, click on it for the larger version):
