Nice geometry V. Your architectural training is showing through again in this one; even though the berry seems to be balancing your square format and the fact that you placed it in the center vertically gives the image great stability.
I like that the berry is on the right side of the frame and it appears to be facing the sunlight and the branches seem to be reaching out.
To me this is an image of faith. Faith that the natural cycle of life will eventually lead to new Spring if we just keep facing the light.
vz-nostalgia: That is what we architects do, Lee, look for this fragile stability in a composition. We're lucky, when we find it.
I haven't had faith in mind, but I do like the direction you go here.

Once again, your stunning art proves itself a combination of word and view; Consider the word absent of the view, or consider the view absent the word. What if you change the view, or the word? What if the word was "Incubation"?
vz-nostalgia: I "incubate" my words, while working on the picture, Doug.

Maybe it should be called cradel of solitude or caught in loneliness. Thanks Viktor!
vz-nostalgia: Or a "cradle of solitude caught in loneliness" You're always welcome, Kelly.
If the little juniper berry is able to provoke such deep thoughts, imagine what a couple of gins would do...
It's really something how you "stimulate" people's imagination...
vz-nostalgia: Can you imagine what a couple of good brains would do after a couple gins, Ms. Lina? Would you like to join me for a drink?
And...it gets great views, as well.
